TGS Content Management 0.2.5r3 released
A few days ago we announced the release of TGS Content Management 0.2.5r3. This is the first TGS Content Management version, which one is the first Out-of-the-Box running version. The new version contains a few bugfixes and new features since 0.2.5r2.

The biggest change since the last release is the TGS Template Engine, which one helps you to design the and develop your own TGS Content Management Templates. With help of the new Engine you need much lesser knowledge in programming with HTML, CSS and PHP. The Engine handle with predefined Placeholders and convert them into the selected content or object. The Template Engine, at the moment in version 0.6.0, is a very young development, but it works very fine and we develop daily at new features helping you to create your own sites. But because the Engine is very young at this moment, some smaller features, which are available in the old difficult Template functions, are missing in the current release.
With including the Template Engine into TGS it is possible to generate HTML-valid sites.

In current download package you will find two Template Engine based Templates, which are programmed by the TGS Development Team and designed from different users at http://www.openwebdesign.org/. Here we want to say thank you to the designers of the Templates.

You will find the documentation for using the Engine, with an reference of all functions and placeholders in our Wiki Page. The documentation also will be extended with every SVN-Release of the Template Engine.

But the new Template Engine is not the only new in TGS Content Management 0.2.5r3. So the release has some new bugfixes (see Bugtracker Changelog) and features. For example the Google Sitemap-Generator and the Control Panel are fixed from all known Issues and one whish from the official TGS Whishlist is done. One of the new features is the RSS-Feed-Generator, which one provides a dynamic RSS-Feed for your site.

Another new and very long waiting feature is the Apache mod_rewrite Extension, which one can handle by TGS Content Management in version 0.2.5r3. This Extension of the Apache-Webserver provide it to rewrite the URL from the normal view (like http://www.yourdomain.com/.2.html) to the content named view (like http//www.yourdomain.com/The_title_of_my_news.123.1.html). This feature you only can use if you've installed the Apache Webserver with mod_rewrite Extension. Otherwise you can't activate the "Nice URL (Apache ModRewrite)" Option in Control Panel.
