TGS Content Management 0.3.2r3 hit release candidate state

Today the upcoming release of TGS Content Management, version 0.3.2r3, hits the release candidate state. The new version will have some new features and optimizations.

For example the Template Engine (version 0.9.6) will bring new parameters for static content and dynamic content placeholders. The if statement is fixed by using the "vbulletin-bridge" parameter and the performance of the engine is powered up. Another change is the optimized APC Support, which will minimize the processor load, if you have many connections to your website.
But not only the Template Engine will be bring changes to you. The cms will also bring some new features to you. So we implement a "backend offline mode" and it will be possible to export your homepage as (x)html files. So you will be able to use TGS Content Management on webspaces without a mysql database server on it.

This aren't all changes we've done the release 3 (r3) and many other changes will come with this new release to you.

We plan to release the new version in week 19/2008.

More then one month is gone, since we publish this news. Many testing processes are done, but unfortunately we received some problems, which force us to re-code some core-components in TGS 0.3.2r3.

Today we shipped the RC9 to our testing team and after testing period (1-2 weeks) we will release the final version.

Can you give us more information on the new features of the new release? I already know there will be a Photo Album, but can you give the readers some information on the new options?

the r3 release will bring only a few new features. The photo album (see Screenshots on tgs-cms homepage), a automatically versionchecker, automatically draft mode (for saving contents while you edit) and some smaller changes.

At the moment we've some problems with internal server errors (IE 500) but we try to fix it!

At the moment I can't announce a new release date.
